Setebid tablet is a proprietary ayurvedic medicine manufactured by AVN Ayurveda formulations, Madurai, India works to normalise blood sugar levels.

Uses 

It is used for the treatment of non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and pre diabetes.

Dosage

Two tablets two times a day for a random blood sugar level of more than 180.  For a sugar lesser than that, one tablet two times a day will be sufficient. However, regular blood and urine sugar level monitoring so as to adjust the dose is highly advisable.

Side effects

There are no known side effects with this tablet. However it is best to take this tablet under medical supervision.
Over dosage may cause low blood sugar symptoms (hypoglycemia).
It can be taken during pregnancy and lactation period if advised by your ayurvedic doctor. It can be given in children.
