Dysuria refers to difficulty in passing urine. There are many causes for dysuria. There is a type of dysuria which is especially felt by children and elderly people usually after an abdominal surgery. They find it difficult to initiate the process of passing urine. They find it difficult to get the urge to pass urine. The urine is held within the bag of urinary bladder by a locking feature called urethral sphincters. Relaxation of urethral sphincter causes opening of the bladder, which lets out urine through the urethra. Sometimes, the patient feels difficulty in relaxing the sphincters leading to difficulty in passing urine (dysuria).
Here is a home remedy that helps in relaxing the urethral sphincter by means of external stimulation.
