Madhav – Arishta Liquid

Punarnava being anti-inflammatory and diuretic relieves the dyspnoea and chest discomfort associated with excess water retention, congestion in circulation in chronic heart failure. It is aphrodisiac, prevents ageing and used to enhance immunity to fight against various diseases. It is also beneficial in blood pressure and helps in lowering cholesterol levels.

Bibhitak is Ushna Virya, Kaphanashak and Kasa- Shwasa Nashaka. Draksha is Vatanulomana, Brihana and Pitta Shamaka. Ela is Katu- Tikta, Laghu- Ruksha. Ela is Kaphachedana, useful in Kasa, Shwasa, Mutrakrichhra and Arsha. Nagakesara is Tikta- Kashaya, Laghu- Ruksha, Amapachana, Raktaprasadana and indicated in Hridvyatha.
