SMP Powder stimulates liver, corrects metabolism, increases BMR. It is also mucolytic and expectorant.

S.M.P powder is based on classicaal formulation Trikatu Churna. Marich is Katu- tikshna- Ushna, Dipana, Kapha- vata Hara, Pramathi, churns out Lapha, Meda and Dosha from their site. Pippali is Tikshna- Katu- Snigdha, Laghu, Vata- Kapha Nashak, Pitta karaka, Dipana and Meda- Kapha Vinashini. Shunthi is Katu Rasa, Madhura Vipaka, Ushna Virya. Triphala is Kapha- Pittaghna, Meha- Kushtha Hara, Sara and Dipana.

Shunthi is prokinetic, decreases gastric emptying time, used to treat various types of other GI problems like morning sickness, colic, upset stomach, gas, bloating, heartburn, flatulence, diarrhea, loss of appetite, and dyspepsia (discomfort after eating). Piperin in Marich and Pippali is vasodilator, anti-inflammatory, analgesic. It is also bioenhancer to various other medicines. Stimulates removal metabolic wastes from site and promotes natural healing process.
