Hello doctor, I have been having trouble finding a source for bulk ayurvedic herb powders. Ayurvedacart is the only place I have been able to find some, do you know of any other good sellers that sell the bulk powders (I like to make my own medicines).

http://www.aayurherb.com/ – has wide range of organic herbs, capsule etc. (if you want bulk amounts, I feel, it is a good option).

http://www.pureindianfoods.com/popular-indian-spices-s/31.htm – I know this guy. They ship from within USA. – For short quantities, it is a good option.

Great thank you so much! Especially for the latter two options, aayurherb seem to be not responding to emails oddly, I have tried from 4 different accounts.

But aayurherb have their all documentation in place. So business with them, ordering process etc will be very easy.
They usually have a booth in all Ayurveda trade shows that I visited in India.
I know Vinod Haritwal from a distance.
Try calling their phone number – http://www.aayurherb.com/enquiry.html#contact

Dear Dr. Hebbar, I like your articles on ayurvedha and have subscribed for news letters, which I am getting everyday.

To my knowledge, Lavendar oil is in no way related to Ayurvedha. Why do you post that article here. I am well versed in aroma therapy. Some fruits, vegetables and flowers, don’t even belong to India. Lavendar flower is one.

Felt it was odd, saying about Lavendar oil here. I believe you have dedicated this site to Ayurvedha only and seems like the topic has gone astray.

Don’t take it offensive please. I say this as one of your well wishers.

    Thanks & Regards
    Viswanaath VS

Dear Doctor, It seems many essential oil are there. And some are alerting that it should not be taken internally although many suggests in very small doses with carrier oil based on the constitution is really good in overall heath. This is my first dilemma. Second one:is there any specific essential oil that balances vata and pitta constitution and increase kapha? Many essential oils are helping vata and kapha constitution.
